Precious Stone
You are as a precious stone
For your beauty bought my heart
And time I hope you know.
By standing where you are
It takes me to the day
When we were feet apart
And the stars had been our lamp
They guided our wondering hearts.
As the street lights lit your face
Giving me a better gaze
Deeper into who you are.
Leading me to love the day
And cherish it in my heart.
Because it is the memory
That began yours, mine, and ours.
Right now from where I stand
I'll love you once all fades
For you are as a precious stone
And worth more than you'll ever know
