Falling across my mind
In whispers of serenity, a light
Folding joy through my thoughts
Inspiration and promise
Song of hearts and music of spirit
Merging to create poetry
Flowing words in gentle verses
Coloring the earth in moonbeams
Stardust moments silencing
The waking winds as they laugh
Bringing dreams to life

Gentling my imagination
With a caress of creativity
Sensations of appreciation, blessings
On prayers spoken through dreams
Alive with reflections on waters
Cool, clear streams, graceful
Gliding along the stones of life
Pouring over memory and quiet
Revealing the faith that inspires
Capturing rays of sunshine
On the tongue, naked praises
Hummed by the brightness
Flickering down to earth
Preparing to shadow the graves
Of gladness and glory
Growing wise with the words
Prepared by the numinous poet

Words warm my pen
Melody smiling at the warm embrace
Of details and descriptions
Hues of a vision portrayed
On faith that abides on the inside
Painting hearts in crimson lakes
Of assurance and courage
Hope surrounds this imagination
Who glows, shimmers in the night
Beckoning hearts to provide
For heaven’s brilliant blue skies
A wind, a wren, a wing…
Stars to sparkle, radiating
The brilliance of a psalm, a prayer
Breathed helplessly on the soul
Who welcomes God’s hand
Over everything in this life
A hand of promise, protection
Praise God for His affection
Love like this knows only credence
Love like this is a bond between
Morning and evening
Daylight and darkness
Heart and soul
A bond who knows
God is alive and He is in control
We only need to give Him our souls

Love will finally arrange for us
A perfection that saves
A precision that amazes
The heart, soul and mind
To abide in the light of One
Who knows us so thoroughly
We could never imagine a better way
Than this way of praise and grace
Abide with Him and find the way
Has been paved with compassion
And joy that is everlasting

Love like this is precious and priceless!
