Praying Mantis
The praying mantis possesses
two ginormous eyes but
only one ear, did you hear?
Although she seems in prayer,
and perfectly still, she can
lash out and kill at will.
When searching for a mate
with which to copulate,
she picks the brainy one.
That's because when she
bites it off, mid copulation,
The fellow loses all inhibition.
But don't creep up to watch.
Her head swivels on a notch.
At the slightest sound.
If you believe in reincarnation.
Would it not be a sensation
to return as one? Such fun!
