Praying
praying
am still praying
yes tell the dead infant
I don't know why
it has to be so
am still on my knees
it hurt me but I don't mind
so tell the man just
gun down in a broad
daylight
I don't know why it
has to be so
am still on my knees
it hurt me but I don't mind
cos with all I see
make me never stop
praying
praying
tell the lady
that just got raped
by the men on carton
colour kaki war jacket
she is on emergency ambulance
on the rush to the hospital
it could be your sister tomorrow
it could be mine
in the cities of calamities
I don't know why it has to be so
am still on my knees it hurt me
but I don't mind cos
am still
praying
praying
tell the refugees am on
my knees
tell the world am still
praying cos their is too
much atrocities in places
tell the priest I am hurt
tell my president my knees
hurts me
I don't know why this
prayer is taking too long
yet am still
praying
praying
am still praying
yes I let the world
know I can't stop now
cos am not blind
with how humans are
slithered on a broad
daylight
with all this vapours
of wars in high place
what can a flesh and bone
like me do
nothing but keep
praying
