Praying

Some look up to pray

Some simply look in

Some prefer a quiet place,
a formal setting

Others, anytime anywhere
will begin --

Don't know that there's a right
nor wrong, or if God has preference
for listening...

Some pray to God for fearing

Not the God I know....

I pray often just while driving my car!! It's so easy to forget to do it sometimes but I find in my car, I have lots of privacy and it's either prayer or the car radio!

A heck of a lot better than Rap, or being attacked by ear piercing commercials. Why can't they tone them down!? Thank you, Andrea.

How do we live.? In reflection..Is good I Can't hold on to that..In they way I maybe should.? For it might lead us to A prayer-life..? For a tick I leave it there What our higher actions are acceoted by ( God as prayers.?) Sin is in our being it surrounds us by seconds and hours..Yet there is a way out made by God..Could it be through Jesus with Actions in reverent car; Prayer.?

For me, prayer is oneness. When we pray we awake aspects of God in ourselves...sort of like a plant taking in CO2 and giving back oxygen. Prayer is a form of spiritual osmosis if that makes sense. We know God, how to pray as Christ taught us -- "Our Father...". Prayer is a living dimension, after which we all come back the better for having entered. In fact, come to realize, there is never true need to keep a division. Who knows? My heart likes such thoughts. Helps my spiritual digestion. "Sin is in our being"...indeed. A reason why earth is so far from other similarly inhabited planets. God is merciful always. The way I see it. Others, like yourself, may have a far clearer picture. Thank you for commenting, Joe.

Prayer should come from the heart. Reminds me of the rich giving money for everyone to see, and the poor praying unseen.

Hum, I had not seen that...but, yes, one can make that comparison. Thank you, Victor. Have a great day.

Agree with Anne. A prayer can rise from the heart anytime. It is a spontaneous act. There needn't be an appointed time or venue.

Absolutely. Then again, a certain time of day and place for quiet prayer or meditation becomes a meeting place for devotee and good angels. If that makes sense? Thank you, Valsa.

The way I see it also; spontaneous is closer to Pure. But any communion is better than none. Thank you, Anne.

insightful and thought-provoking, Joe. I don't pray out of 'fear'--not my God either. Well said...!
