Prayer's Conversation

Crying out to God with problems to face
vying with sleep, my thinking's a chore.
Buying back time while seeking His ear,
trying to pray sounds more like a snore.

How to decide the time that one prays -
vow to start praying ere time is spent,
bow, recognizing distress in life's mess.
Thou, Father God, my empowerment!

Releasing my prayers all through the day,
decreasing the chance of mere desperation,
policing my actions, God's will to unleash,
unceasing prods of prayer's conversation.

Ablaze with light, each new moment is born.
Praise for God's strength after trust's rebirth;
malaise withdraws in the wake of belief.
Thruways of prayer help me cope on earth.

I enjoyed your thoughts on prayer, REason. Congrats for the win. I pray as I drive to work. Sometimes the prayer can be almost the whole 20 min. or sometimes just 3 or 4. I am a person always trying to kill two birds with one stone.

Thank you Andrea, it is such a blessed thought to know that the Creator, Redeemer Actually hears and listens to us.
