Prayers Answered

Prayer: we thank you God
you make all things well for each of us
we love you and bless your Name,
Amen.

When things were sore, and matters bleak
this man and wife, utterly inconsolable;
then we pray, a solution we seek
unto Thy Hands, please solve this trouble.

Then as suddenly as the night went by
Thou O' Lord brought forth a miracle;
a holy angel, as the end was 'nigh
appeared and helped, and she 'was' notable.

Now this couple, my flesh and blood
now behave, and hold their screams;
All is well, Lord thou stopped the flood
our prayers answered, our joy in Him.

A lesson learnt, to trust in God
no hill to high, no lofty height;
all glory to Him, He gives the nod
our prayers answered, all in God's Might.

What a wonderful God we have who is so abundantly able to meet all our needs.

yes, Alfred, God is good, all the time; all the time, God is good! i guess prayers that are most said in times of turmoil far outweigh repetitive prayers said as a duty; fall not into that! till then, thanks for sharing, cheers!

thanks, Elaine for your kind words; i'm glad you found it inspiring. it seems we always have something to reflect upon, and why not God? in perspective, He is always there for us, we just need to put all in His Hands. God bless!

yes, Verlecia, this can be painful, especially to an outside observer. i believe that God hears our cries and knows what's best for each of us, His children. thanks for your patronage; God bless!
