Prayer of Happiness

We all have a journey to finish We all have to pick pearls amidst pebbles We meet new souls on the way out of whom, some teach, some stay. You may be an angel in someone's story You may be a blot in another's But, every heart you see, beats similarly, finding it's way to anything that feels like paradise. It may hurt when you lose touch You may love another summer But when on the road Walking towards your ultimate goal, Remember to take breaks to feel gratitude towards every single wonderful hand you held once For my friend, that's what the prayer of happiness is all about. © Shreshtha Mishra
