Prayer
The only conversation that fills all gabs
The only place that patches all wounds.
Where I feel safe when a tear drops,
A place where vulnerability is acknowledged.
Where I feel welcomed in my imperfections.
A place of peace,
A place without judgements.
The only place Where I don't need to coat words,
A place of warmth.
The only place where my thirst is quenched
And my hunger is filled.
With my head down, hands lifted up high
With my Knees down, eyes closed up to heavens.
I lay down my fears
And all troubles disappears.
I lay down my heartaches
And all pain heals
A place to refill my emptiness.
The only place of hope.
