Prayer
On Sunday,
The saints gather…
Not the normal service,
later, when others…
are home.
They are quiet,
and humble.
They have come,
to the house of
God!
They have come,
not for themselves,
but for others.
The ones that;
are sick,
and weak.
The ones that can not,
make the journey.
Their loved ones,
and the loved ones,
of strangers.
Their church,
its pastor,
teachers and elders,
the body,
of Christ.
They come on their knees,
gathered in Your name,
to hold others high,
to ask for;
Your mercy,
Your grace!
On Sunday,
The saints gather…
The angels attend,
God watches,
and His very presence…
the air,
breathed in,
by all.
Amen.
