Power of One

SONNET-IN-PROCESS: Power of One

Words of concern, friendship, simple chatter
Will keep one from those dear, dear therapists
The power of your talk, a small matter,
Is oft the thinnest thread this side of death

We talked before machine and computer
And designer handbags, shoes, and cellphones
That wisdom of grandma, uncles, neighbor
Great sounding boards (old friends) now mostly gone

We can't know how one call is a Savior
On obscure small-scale, where human beings dwell
One word of support, admitting error
May save sanity in saints under spell

So, human neighbor, “human being” is right:
“Human” the dance - dancer is "Being” in delight

As a tribute (posted) I celebrated religion without priests, when the sacred work with CLAY was done only by women (among the Bantu) and the evidence is both lingusitic & archeological (BAntu roots, prefixes, suffixes). shalom, shalom Dear Ones
