Posthumous Fame

What, no applause? No one told them they were supposed to like your work. Like Dickinson and Van Gogh One day your talents will surface Posthumously, perhaps Treasures uncovered Would fate have it any other way?

Excellent message in this one. I know a few people so deserving of fame but it's doubtful in today's world to achieve it! Belated congrats for this one.

Woudn't be nice if we could be discovered even posthumously? I'm not likely to leave my descendants much of anything else so it would be cool to leave them bragging rights. Nice to hear from you Carolyn even though you are limited in time. Take care. Love, Joyce

Sometimes people don't appreciate you till you no longer there, then they see what you've been and treasure the memories. Nice poem Carolyn

Reads like a winner to me..Good luck..Once I read a short story about a posthumous son..Today I heard on PBS on the radio about posthumous writer who's family thought she was dead and pull her poems out and got them published and she became famous so she could not let them know that she was alive and destroy the fame she was privately enjoying..Then here is your poem ...Great day for me..Amidst the problems God is Good Carolyn..Thanks for the blog visit..Sara
