Postal Humor #2

Old saying: Rain or snow, sleet or hail, the mail must go out.

2/13/2010 Saturday,
My fellow Americans, the US postal service has let us down, a light 4 inches of snow kept
the mail truck from traveling sixty miles to our town, south of Atlanta. It is a sad day, one
that I will never forget; it will go down in infamy as the day, old sayings have been proved
unreliable. Life as we know it will never be the same!!

Our mail lady ran our route twice one day after that to try to catch up on what had not been delivered. Keep the creative pen flowing. Mom

I hear you my friend.... And to answer your question, I work as a trainer at Buffalo Wild Wings... My poetry has been published but to say that I make a living as a writer would be far fetched. I haven't been given the opportunity as of yet... My day is coming....:JP]

How terrible that the mail wasn't delivered with just four inches on the ground. Lately I've been having trouble with mail being forwarded. My brother retired from the Post Office and I know he went out by foot to deliver mail in horrible weather. And he always had a smile on his face (still does)! I'd like to sign your petition if you'll send it to me at seafaress8@aol.com. Thanks! Love, Carolyn
