" POSSIBLE " MY PHOTO, ©

When I was young, oh life, the breeze of your dreams gently caressed my enchanted innocent heart making it believe that all it wished for was within the reach of the possible. With the passing of unforgiving time though and the coming of inescapable old age, the scourging sun of merciless reality evaporated youth's illusion: Of impossibility's nonexistence! © Demetrios Trifiatis 12 December 2019

As youthful souls we think we are indestructible as we age we realize we are not and we all have the same end result to life. Some just sooner then others. Good write :) hugs

True dear Sandra! The more we believe it the more we suffer later on when we face reality at an old age! Thank you for gracious visit and comment! Hugs xxx

Yes, to some it brings wisdom , my friend Tom BUT it brings also inability to do simple things as one to take care of himself thus needs the help of others. Little things as going to the bathroom, a thing that the young man never things to be impossible. If you wish read it again my dearest friend. Thank you so much.

Yes, a life filled with experiences is a rewarding one if the experiences are good BUT if one loses his sight or a limb I do not think he will appreciate and grow my friend, Gregory. In the case of positive experiences I am with you but here I talk of facing life when old and unable . Thank you so much.

"the coming of inescapable old age" - there is only one way to escape it, and I am glad you get to experience it. "merciless reality" - a great way with words you have, Demetrios.
