Lou Reed was a different kind of musician. Dead now. He started the Velvet Underground in the 60's-avant garde rock. He had a solo career his most famous hit is Take a Walk on the Wild Side. You should youtube it and listen. Musically it has a great bass line and a great sax at the end. The words are interesting. The song is a reflection of hanging out with Andy Warhol and his crowd

Love this!!! You don't always have to follow gender norms. Do what makes you happy. When I was Joe's age, I had really short hair and enjoyed basketball! Just live your life.

Thanks, Reva. What I wrote is a bit on the nasty side though, as I read it again. Gender-conflict must be a rough road to hoe. ~ gw

LOL Gershon. Good one given today's fluidity

The fluidity is the frightening part, I think. You've nailed it, Oliver.

Plays with G.I. Joe perhaps. My brother, in childhood had knights the size of Joe. He dispensed with the horses and the knights would oft fly through the air. This same “good” kid threw FP little people into lake along with a pair of shoes he didn’t want. “Boys will be boys”
