you should have misspelled more words in here to make it even funnier. Good idea for a limerick, Jan.

I think we are all guilty at one time or another...my phone is good for changing words on me and if i write on impulse i may make an error...usually then instead of than, or something similar....cute write we can all relate to :) hugs

Amen to that, Jan, and I might add don't rely solely on spell check because it won't catch everything; it always bugs me when people use "your" for "you're" or "there" for "their." Nicely written my friend. John

- ... my English is probably full of "bugs" ... which can irritate ... but, I greatly appreciate being corrected ... I often post poems on impulse ... and forget to check :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

I've just posted the poem about the funeral, wish I'd posted it before this poem then maybe it would make more sense about why I chose typoes for this poem theme. I worked with kids with dyslexia for 16 years, many spell phonetically so you can understand what they meant, several had 'scribes' for exams as they could say the right answer but not write it down. hugs jan xx

Anne-Lise your use of English is brilliant and I don't recall seeing you typo and I would soup mail you if I saw a booboo... I went to a funeral the other week - one of the hymns had a typo which made the first line laughable ... there was also a typo on another hymn, to me it was so unprofessional:-( hugs jan xx
