Notes About The Poem

Polka Dot Rainbow

when sunshine emerged
a polka dot rainbow flared
above green treetops

things were looking up
all the colors coming down
children chased balloons

many-hued nature
has unending surprises
like diamonds in dirt

I love the idea of a polka dot rainbow! This poem is optimistic just as children are in the last line! Enjoyed

I'll never be able to write haikus like you do. Splendid.
