Pockets Of Wealth:
In my left
a president
not one
by God sent
In my right
a congress,
not one will
ever confess
In my back,
left or right
the same, day
or night, could
not tell
a difference
if only by sight
could not tell
by ear – though different
appealing promises,
both falsely speaking
year after year
can definitely tell
by all they do,
and not what they say –
the same sulfur smell
for all demagogues
having one foot
already in hell –
a little grease here
a little grease there
throw a feast here
throw a feast there...
mindset far away
from the needle's eye,
from the camel and his
desert~ elite tables' main
focus that of more
prime rib and
succulent pheasant....
