Poet's Passion
The passion of a poet may sometimes
not be known.
But poems are written
for a reason.
So lines of verse deserve
to be read,
letting reader wonder what the past said,
or what the future may be.
And if passion passes
by a poet,
one may wonder why the poet wrote a poem
that was missed.
Perhaps it was a fly-by of a poet
in his prime.
Or just an old guy
who was pissed!
