Poets Have Been Calling
Suppose they could email me flower seeds
This would fulfill all of my flourishing needs
In my foreboding back yard and also front
Instead of for my seeds having to hunt.
As I pressed an icon what should appear
Some flower seeds which I wish were here
This is not what flower growers had in mind
So have to languish and purchase them on line.
Bought flower seeds that were a Texas Star
Planted month ago but none are seen so far
Can it really be true that our Carolina soil
To my flowers will seem like aluminum foil.
This is what I am starting and beginning to think
Won't plant more throwing rest down my kitchen
All of my great, perfect flower effort had to pity it
Others have been calling me a blooming idiot.
