Poetry Soup

Poetry soup stirs the muse with many forms to choose
Open your stanza and immerse yourself in verse
Enjoy an enclosed rhyme with words sublime
Then intersperse metaphors as the poem you traverse
Refrains are fine as you alternate the lines
Yesterday's woes can inspire a prose

Sonnets by Shakespeare can give your muse flair
Or write of morning dew with a haiku
Use your quill and let a Triolet spill
Post your poem if you will

Joseph, An excellent acrostic which relates well to its task. Your portrayal of options open to the writer I especially like. Thanks for your comment on “Violet.” Howard
