This is poem #8 of my Poetry Portfolio for class.

Breathe, I can’t breathe Air is like fog I need a breath to survive Now another one And another It seems to go On, seconds seems to be Coughing Segments of breath All that I have done Painful entities That I have created Moments Breathing needs to become A solid conscious Deliverance Breathe, again So that I may be With her again Russell Sivey

This is very intense, Russell, I am struggling with you ... because of a medical condition I have done a lot of choking and gasping for breath, and it is frightening each time. I'm so glad you made it through this - our progeny need us! Blessings, Friend!

This is deep with full effort to keep going for a child. To breathe again, to be there, to try. Excellent.
