Taking the world by storm
A few lines that into a stanza grew
The poet his life blood poured
Onto the pages of experience
The pen mightier than the sword
Was shown by brilliance
The deep thought provoking poetry
Or the funny and humourous lyrics
Are felt all through history
Whether sonnet, rhyme or acrostics
The genre of poetry for eternity
Is blessed with dignity
