Poetry,  That Glorious Unparalleled Art

Enigmatic, invisible forces at play
Tides of mysteries, Fate's unpredictable ways
Numerous casualties- night's vast hidden winds
Future- vagaries all that mortal life portends
Substance of heart and soul inked from eager pen
Ways and wiles- myriad paths, evil held within
Verses born of passion and immutable love
Beauty of moon, stars and vast gleaming lights above!

Poetry,  that glorious unparalleled art
Thoughts, dreams, words -emotions from poet's beating heart
Oceans of giving, communicating truth and more
Words that sing, that into ones heart so sweetly bore
Or paint the hopes, dreams and love, special thoughts on life
Perhaps to gift joy, inspire,  relieve daily strife
Verses born of passion and immutable love
Beauty of moon, stars and vast gleaming lights above!
