Poetry
sunlight washes the Earth like an incoming tide
to reveal the bright colors of the world
with all its majesty
so my eyes can be filled with an abundance of beauty
that will steal my heart
and create offerings of wonder
allowing my imagination to run wild
in the beauty of natural surroundings
taking me on a peaceful journey
where unimaginable spirituality connects me
so I may write a poem
where each thought, each breath
leads me to my soul
