Such beauty of words in your limerick Brian.. thankxxx so very much for my win in your Rhyme Time contest... Interesting information.I suppose that learning to read and write other languages was a requirement for the people of wealth in those days so that they could be well educated and the lower classes were just totally lost in that area. Keep the creative pen flowing.Sara
