This poem is somewhat a continuation of the poem "Lacking Eloquence" I have now posted the name and author of the book! As the friendly contest is over!

I will be doing a Blog on my site, and in the evenings a discussion of the chapters I have read so far in the book. Sure would be nice anyone with an historical background of the UK during these periods.

You may have seen Cinderella’s poison undressed A few moments obscene Where the people claiming hold to beauty Pretend to be the victums It’s sick to see a bully Shed tears and play the world for fools However cyanide nor mediocrity will do Never seeing the world in another’s shoe The Saints do see, looking down on your phew They can not really write So no one really views Why bother with their hatred spewed? When flowers bloom and better talent is the news They lie and slander Even caught red handed They will say; is you who are blind They, the beautiful ones, so unkind Little ones, pretending to have big shoes They lack eloquence but that’s not news They are seen for what they are Jealous of the brighter star Without their baggage, one can travel far

Arthur I like your poem, so true. The line jealous of a brighter star says it all. Well done. I try yo just avoid the bullies.

Thanks Broken Wings, in this case I think you would actually like the book,It takes place in medieval Gothic times, when right and wrong had more to do with position than justice!

Cinderelly, Cinderelly. good thing your feet weren't smelly. People who wear glass slippers shouldn't throw stones. I once wrote a poem about Little Red Riding Hood, but she was not so innocent. I love this one, Arthur.

Hello Arthur, Let the "Bullies" beware!! Their poison is both dangerous and deadly. Jealously and mendacity be their warp and woof in this life. Those who are truly enchanted and of good heart, can travel far without the infection of a Bully's baggage -- a Bully's poetic cyanide. A very thought- provoking write indeed!! Excellent Work!!
