do they have country ham up there? if they do get some. put a slice in a skillit with a fair amount of water. boil it down till the water is almost gone. what you have left is the redeye gravy. you mix it with grits or rice or what ever you want. but don't forget the biscuts and jelly to go along with the ham. basicly it is a southern dish from the deep south. john
