Poems On the Wall

He gets dress in a hurry
Glance as he passes by the mirror
 Ran downstairs
Mom is waiting in the car

She drops him in the corner
So he can walk to school
 He really likes a girl
So he tries to act cool

But he’s to shy to tell her
When he sees her in the hallway
Many times he tries to speak
But he don’t what to say

So he writes what his heart felt
With pen and paper he tells her all
 Then signs “unanimous”
Then would stick on the wall

“From the first time I saw you
My heart just began to melt
 Just like the snow
When the morning sun is felt”

“I couldn’t stop thinking of you
 Even if I try to
For I had already lost my heart
It now belongs to only you”

And every time she reads it
Her heart would start to race
 Wondering who this secret admirer
And why doesn’t he show his face

I’m not going to” bite him’
She thinks and smiles quietly
Then she goes in room 204
 To do lab and biology

He sign up for all the same classes
Just so he can see her
 And today he never expected
For them to do a project together’

He didn’t even talk at all
The whole time in class with her’
And she didn’t have a clue
That he is her secret admirer

and When he leave in a hurry
His bag fell to the floor
And all the poems he has written
He can’t hide his identity no more

She picks up a note and read
“I’m standing out in the rain
Longing for the day you hug me
So I will never feel cold again”

Then he starts to walk away
 Feeling shame and dejected
But when she holds his hand
It was more than he expected

Today he is not shy no more
They going to the movies on a date
 True love will find you
No matter how long you wait
