Poem 101

Poem 101

Never knew just how it could happen to me
I’m so happy that’s how it was meant to be,

Just like a big funny red balloon that just got
Bit by a wild kangaroo, who was jumping and forgot,

Just how it ended up in my kitchen on bended knee
Oh, oh I’m hoping it doesn’t want to tackle me,

For I’m not cut out to ran fast and aimlessly
Can you even imagine a gal like me running with feathers?

Till my sides are all stitched up like Indian or ostrich leathers
Oh no I have to go!
