When I don’t know what to say Be my voice When I don’t know what to pray Be my choice Be the wisdom that eludes, Beautiful that pursues, The miracle of Holy Truth When I don’t know what to do By my guide When I don’t know two plus two Be with me, abide Where I know that I can find The prayer and the promise, The answers to my inquiries, The music – so I can harmonize With the One who inspires my fire When I don’t know what to believe Be my faith When I don’t know what to achieve Be my light When I feel like a failure, When nothing on earth feels okay And when I can’t understand the things That have taken my hopes, my dreams Leaving me without any confidence – BE with me When I don’t know the way Be my example When I don’t know the yea Be my certainty Wherever I fall beneath Shadows of sorrow and regret Fill me with Your grace, Your wisdom The understanding that comes from Believing – You are the answer, the One who abides inside, restores my smile Amazes and enlightens – Thanks to You, My world is filled with a reassurance That comes from knowing… You are alive, quieting the fears Wiping away the tears and reminding me Always, there is the eternal gift… The saving grace that gives me a place A heavenly home where I can forever roam Thank You, Jesus… for everything You have always been The kindness and grace, the most beautiful friend The reason for hope and the gentle, so serene Savior of the soul – Rescuer of joy within Thank You, Jesus… for allowing my restoration to begin! Please USE ME, Lord… because I long to bring You Something worthwhile – worship and praise, My soul’s only hope of showing the me that’s brand new!
