Please Tell Me Why

Please, tell me why . . . woodpeckers, Suddenly appear, Every time, I am near, Simply said, They like to peck, On my head. On the day that I was born, The angels got together, And decided that a dream would never do, So they sprinkled sardines on my head, And some roses that are really dead, And a sleeping bag, With Bean and Onslow too. That is why, all the birds in town, Peck my head, up and down, Just like that, I need a hat, How about, You?

Love this one too, Bryan. More whimsy just means more fun and you did this style very very well.

Delightful, imaginative whimsy my friend! Got plenty of hats - maybe I can loan you one! Reminds me of woodpecker I rescued from a chimeny one time! Fortunately I didn't need a hat! Thanks for sharing and for the tee-hee, giggle and titter! Hope your head heals!

Thank you so much. On the subject of whimsy, I like this poem a lot, but my next is maybe a thousand times better. Maybe. Should be up in a few minutes! Thanks.
