Please Stay

walked into the ICU, and saw you lying there. blood-red bandaged forehead, that sight, I couldn't bear. your eyes closed, skin pale. and your rescue, an epic fail. felt the tears, roll down my cheek. your comfort, now, is all I seek. it happened, in a flash. that disastrous, car-crash. if I could have, saved you. I could have, kept you. but now, alas! it's not in my hand. to stop them from, mixing you with sand. begging you, I'm on my knees. just stay, I'm saying please. don't leave, don't go. I don't want, an ending so. many a time, I'll say. listen to me, please stay...
