Playing With the Wind
The sea has captured her spirit
She's back to play with the wind
Distant from safe harbours
A new adventure begins...
All alone She sets sails
Like in those yesterdays
Without a place to call home
Without a man's tight embrace.
This island girl travels on water
In a dolphins' free world
Away from each pathway
Far from a dry desert land.
She follows the first spuming night-star
In moon -lit shadows She bathes
With dawn's early bird song
She sketches the sunrise
and a hundred shades.
She paints unshackled hands,
Unforgotten face through all faces
once met in cotton clouds' shapes
She scribbles the same name
on a creased sheet of paper
from all other recalling names.
The sea has captured her spirit
She's back to play with the wind
Distant from safe harbours
A new adventure begins...
Surfing on a spring-tide
A sea-man she sees
She wonders in secret
If He's the one in her dreams.
There are rough crossings ,deep currents
and strengths to achieve
Yet She keeps on going
Reaching for the sweetest breeze.
The sea has captured her spirit
She's back to play with the wind
Distant from safe harbours
A new adventure begins..
