Play In the Snow

There was a young fellow called Joe Who loved to play out in the snow But he skidded on ice Somersaulted twice And broke all three bones in his elbow. February 16th 2018. Entered in walking in the snow contest Sponsored by Kevin Shaw.

Good one, Tom, congratulations on your fine limerick written to flow like only limericks can. Containing some food for thought, didn't know an elbow had three bones. I enjoyed it.

Well written Limerick form, Tom. While I do so love your rhyming poems, it's also great to see you branching out into different forms. Poetry Soup is a great learning tool for that. This is a great write. Good luck in the contest.

Years ago when I used to go out on delivery, I had a few tumbles' on the ice and snow before health and safety was invented lol. Now they tap info into a computer to see if its safe to go out or not. Tom
