Play, Music Box, Play

Play, music Box, play Moonlight veils a serene face. All I want is to touch her lips, right now, when she quietly sleeps with a beam on her face… Play, music box, play Her little hand is held by mine. We walk among cypress, a lute melody is played fine and she gifts me with a kiss… Play, magic box, play The moon blushes with surprise, envy and without diffidence. Our spirits will bound and rise, Stars are our new audience… Play music box, play It is late and the music is silent. The box is closed for now. I lay and sleep content: she will be mine again tomorrow…
