Plagiarism-Tbp
There are some who defend plagiarism,
quite puzzling indeed.
What are the TBP thinking,
why even plant that seed?
Forgiveness I understand,
there are many deeds done wrong.
But Plagiarism in Poetry?
Well it just doesn't belong.
You can write your own words,
bring them straight from your heart.
Now that's good poetry my friends,
and it's a damn good start.
Quotation marks are wonderful,
they will keep your poem from heading south.
But please don't lie,
and put words in one's mouth.
Slander and libel,
these are strong words as well.
Be careful of what you accuse,
for that could deliver a nasty spell.
Writing threats of litigation,
on a public forum without proof.
That's a slippery slope,
and your credibility will just go POOF!
