Pity Us
Our true love lost
maybe it's in this glass of warm wine
or the stem of this dead rose
Maybe it's in the sunrise
See the pyramids in the shape of my heart
the ocean lye still
Like the dreams in my head
Maybe you will feel the loneliness too
Listen to the quiet jungle
Soft spoken words like empty invitations
unspeakable responses
My shallow heart lye still with unforgiven confessions
My mind an archway for pleasure
Society now awaits the two of us
as the world comes to an end.
