Pink Skies Above the Dunes
My toes are in the warmest sand
I enjoy the solitude of this beach
Love to walk and dream this way
Making plans,shifting my eyes
To pale pink skies above the dunes
An eternity is what we have
To traverse this shoreline side by side
Or simply envision our future together
While lapping waves strike and resound
Against the dock and our bare feet
And so for now I will be glad
To have this beauty to myself
