Oh, I like this, Linda! I don't know much about the Lakota, just SW. But all of them understand Nature. I'd like to get their take on the harsh journey Nature is on now!

We understand so little because we don't live it, nor do most of us respect it. I'm sure it would be an interesting story. :) Thanks for stopping by Ann! hugs :)

Lakota is also a name for the Sioux Native Americans. Thatis what caught my attention, Alice. I had to read your reply to Jenna to understand. I'm not good at haiku. I deleted my NA. LOL

Yes, they also call it the 'Moon When the Ducks Come Back'. Different tribes have different names, usually based on the environment where they live. I write a haiku about the full moon each month :). You should have left it. LOL

A nod to a change of season? I love using native American words. Nice one, Linda.

Thank you Jenna. Yes, a nod to the change and the beautiful phlox that signify the pink full moon of April , sometimes called the Egg Moon because of the return of the ducks/geese. Thanks for reading and commenting! :)
