SS, If I remember correctly you live where it is very cold like Iceland or Greenland. I would think that they could not bloom as early as here in the south. Thanks for dropping by. I hope you can enjoy the blossoms when they bloom. Some force them to bloom by putting some bulbs in pots inside in a sunny window. I would not be able to handle it because of allergies. Sara

Jan, Your presence is welcomed on this in between day of spring. It can't make up its mind but it is warmer. Sara

Tom, The wind blew that small limb down and it landed right on top of my only pink hyacinth but it withstood that blow because the limb was small. It will be able to make some nutrition so that the bulb will survive to bloom again next year. Thanks for the visit. Sara

Hyacinths are not just pretty in appearance; they also have a nice fragrance. Good write.

Robert, Yes, the fragrance is lovely if I just take a whiff and go on. I can't allow them in the house for they give me a headache. The pink one about which I wrote is one that my mother had planted and I tried to save some of them but only have one left in my flower garden. Thanks for dropping by. Sara
