Pin the Tail On the Donkey-Hee Haw

Swirl me, twirl me, spin me ‘round My eyes are covered, subject not found. Direct me here, then block me there Smiles and snickers; won’t give a care. Hates me, baits me, friend or foe I stop to listen but never know. Frizzy, dizzy, can’t find the beast Removing blind, tail’s pinned on me!

A golden oldie. How are things going with your computer? I don't send my writings through e-mail for fear they will be defaced or destroyed. But no matter. I have everything on disc. Hope you are as well as might be expected and happy, happy as only Mikki can be. Hugs-a-bundle. daver

Back to one of your best poems again. If you don't like it being one of your best, you need to write MORE poems but I think it will always stay a GREAT poem

Thanks Andrea. I still write, in fact I can write an unfinished poem almost every day!:( Even the timid Henry was more punctual and tenacious than I. I could learn a lot from a cricket, except to strum :)

I think some one needs to keep you on your toes my friend. And here is the perfect way a little challenge. I still have not been able to finish the carpenter and the walrus I need inspiration. Would you write a poem on the mad hatters tea party and post on soup. I will then see if I can match your work. A collab that is not a collab Love Shane xxx

Oh, who knows when one is in a "frizzy dizzy" state of bewilderment? May have ended up tagged on pride, or trust, common sense? More than likely after all the confusion, it was knotted like a tie (choker)? Dang, you ask the darnest questions, Shane! :))

Mikki, I liked this one immensely!! The tone and beat of this verse write are in perfect pitch and synchronicity. I got both frizzy and dizzy reading it over and over. Your touch with these writes is quite marvelous. A "7" and a FAV here from me!! Best Always, Gary

Wow! This has so much energy that by the end my head was spinning..such effective verbage! I also love the poetic shift of silliness at the end..ha ha...someone was having fun at your expense! Just like a kid's bday party...I tell ya, Mikki..this poem stirred up some pretty profound emotions in me of the days my grandmother threw the best bday parties..Pin the tail was our fav game! Grandiose write that blessed me this day! :) all my best to u...gwendolen

Reminds of an ancient ritual, perhaps a rebirth;alone to explore - its funny how, when the blind is lifted the Light can hurt - Thanks for spurring me - J.A.B.
