My Grandmother used to make double breasted coats out of blankets for my mom, aunt and my grandpa and of course herself during the war - Greece was occupied by the Nazis and times were hard. Grandmas always do the most fantastic needlework. Great poem a fav. Blessings, Jennifer.

Oh how beautiful! I never got to see my grandma knit but heard she was a prolific one handling many colors together. I treasure the blanket she made for me, adoring to move the strands of fringe through my fingers. Warm hugs...Kim
