Piece By Piece

And all I remember
Is how I’m your little girl
The way I clung to you
The arms that I hold to
Walking through the room
I heard you're calling names
Shoulders down hiding her face
And I was scared for once

And piece by piece
I saw you changed our life and you began to leave
And never looked back
Piece by piece you throw my faith away, there’s a scar you burned in me
At six years old
And you know
I will run away
I’ll never asks for money
I’ll take all away
Leave my past behind me
Piece by piece
I will get my life back
No more tears for her
Not a broken heart

And all of your loved ones will gone away
Your words can’t make me stay or coming back
Your love is just a lie
It scarred me deep
Back then I believed everything you said to me
So I was hopeless

Piece by piece
I live my life in peace
And make the one I love the most
Happy and free
Piece by piece
I’ll put her smile back on
With thousand kisses
And endless laughs
I’ll never run away
I’ll never break her heart
Give her all of me
Cause she deserve it

Piece by piece
I will path my own fate
I’ll put my faith in her like she has in me
She will never have to sacrifice her love to live
Because unlike you,I will become her shield
And you know
I’ll never walk away
I’ll stay,hold her tight
I’ll keep her next to me
Cause I love her
Piece by piece
She restored my faith
That love can survive
As I hope and pray

p/s:Listen to the song "Piece by Piece" by Kelly Clarkson. It inspired me a lot and with it, I wrote this, a piece of my life...
