Picking Question Marks
Bring me
a question mark
but not any
will do...
bring it
from the land
beside the morning---
pluck
it fresh
from the tree
of punctuation
& then bring
it to me
dew condensing
on the leafy font.---
escape the
dragon of afternoon
in the woods
between the spheres.
as the scaly fellow
showers you
with spiral flames
of adjectives---
Have no fear
For the root
of the question
will find his
heart..
hewed fresh
has great potency
for as metaphors bleed
the richest marmalade
cannot be epic...
