The calm, the eerie still before the storm Nature herself supports this, this crime is one approved by God That's what he tried to wrap his head about, certainly with no luck Strange enough, he knew still that it had to be done Days went by and by in quick rapid succession His thoughts started to linger, to drown him from every direction He looked more lost, like he was stuck in another dimension Like he had fought battles in his head, and lost every single one Alas, he looked up and smiled He sent quivers, deep chills down it's spine He was not alone, he had come for a fight Staring straight across him was one that would make his life One, two, three, the deep breaths he took in, It was finally time, to face the reality he was in He'd lost in his head, countless times than you'd think He'd accepted defeat, buh still, he'd fight to win He looked around, picked up his trusty old axe Noticed the shovel, buh they had an axe to grind Perhaps, it's the cause we're about to find Perhaps, the cause takes his life He stood and fought with bravery he never found Their battle cries, devastating, as loud as an hellhound's It's time to put you to rest, you were shown mercy being bound This time, I'll face you till the death, only death will do us part So they fought, and they fought both of them blind As he'd seen, victory was never his from the start He was awaiting death, patiently, right up until now He'd lost hope, until he saw that light He saw something worth fighting for, and continued fighting Whether or not he won mattered little, he wouldn't give up easily This battle would go on for ages, he said eyes brimming This war, will not be lost by me, I promise you this Now, I've been thinking, what exactly was it? Asking you, what did you think he dueled with? It was a who?, okay, who was it?? Maybe you're both going through the same thing
