Pic Motifs: Visual 2

Grimly he comes.
Day after day,
hour upon hour
second by second -
for centuries
into eternity.
The face
beneath his dark hood
he will reveal
when he comes
for you.

I don’t know all that smoking can’t be good for his health. Didn’t he use to do commercials for Marlboro cigarettes or was it for the cancer society either way his career went up in smoke. Great take on this contest. BTW the face he shows you is your own. Scary stuff. A Fav!

That picture reminds me of the men black and that visit I had one night where a person who looked just like this was leaning over me as I was trying to go to sleep. I screamed and covered my head with the covers and he disappeared. Congratulations on your win. It is great to be in your company with this win! Very scary! : )

Death is a stalker...and any minute it might pounce! We both placed on the same level with our entries, Andrea, but I must admit I like yours more. Congratulations!! Regards // paul

Ah, yes, this write surely delves deep into the darkness of death...but could be just the revelations of a difficult or seemingly impossible situation, he comes to crush the day...the end game...the finality of death of a moment, surely it would come without a sound, and with something deep inside his eyes! Such fear exposed within your wondrous poem Andrea! I really enjoyed your world of darkness by this impassable being! Great Work!!
