Ahh!! Music. It is indeed a pleasure for us and nice that you talk about it as being a means to sort out your feelings. BTW, I have been listening to OM by the Moody Blues lately. I do love the harmony and fullness of the sound. A second BTW, your words are like music!! It is a sweet insight into a moment in your life.

Playing music got me through many dark days, from teenage angst to relationship sorrows, to loss of loved ones, and anxiety about the future. I feel like I can relate to this one, Laura. I took piano lessons for about six months when I was a kid. I finally managed to play "Beautiful Dreamer" with both hands...very slowly...before finally admitting that the piano and I were not meant to be an item. I do admire anyone who can play, however, and I admire anyone who can write about it well enough to get a POTD on PS. Bravo!

Thanks, Jim. My grandmother and father gave me and my siblings piano lessons at a young age. I didn’t take to it very well myself, but I started to play on my own by ear and learned I was better that way. Appreciate your kind words. ~Laura
