Notes About The Poem

Phoney Psychic

I’m visiting a brand new clairvoyant if she’s good I’ll be her best client She’s been recommended to me though she charges a very high fee I arrived promptly at a quarter to four and rapped loudly on her front door She opened the door wearing a scowl and spat out these words with a growl “Who are you … I wasn’t expecting anyone!” I said you put your profession to shame and Charlotte-Ann … is a VERY apt name! 06/23/21

I imagine many charlatons in this game. Perhaps when you rapped on the door she thought it was a signal from beyond. All the best.
