Phone Call
Phone Call
Fate gave me the courage
to reach out to you.
The night I gave you a call
I was feeling 50 shades of blue.
My life felt meaningless
my confidence shattered.
My soul had been broken
my heart was left battered.
With no where to turn
nobody to run to.
I may never know why
or what lead me to call you.
You were the shoulder I needed
never let my head hang low.
You helped me gain the strength
I needed to just let go.
You stood up to help fight
my most feared inner deamon.
Behind each smile
now theres a reason.
I could never thank you enough
for the friendship we've grown.
I will always be greatful for that day
you answered the phone
